Ceri and Mark Get Hitched at the Lowry Theatre Manchester
The Lowry Theatre Wedding Photography
This is the first wedding I have photographed a wedding at The Lowry Theatre in Manchester’s Salford Quays and I couldn’t wait as it is an amazing location in Manchester which has quickly developed over the past few years. The stunning waterside views make an amazing backdrop for photographs and I love the industrial feel to the buildings with masses of reflective metal and glass bouncing colour and light everywhere. Ceri and Mark booked the Compass Room in the Lowry Theatre for their ceremony and what a stunning room to tie the knot! It’s a huge room and when all the window blinds are down the dramatic lighting really looked amazing. The day was sunny and we had some awesome shots outside at the front of the Lowry Theatre and during the wedding breakfast I managed to sneak Ceri and Mark out onto the balcony just behind the top table for a few photos and a bit of fresh air before the speeches started.
The gorgeous bride Ceri had put in a lot of thought and planning into every detail of the wedding. I met up with the bride and groom to be about 2 years ago when they very first started planning their wedding and Ceri was so excited about planning their special day! The wedding dress was absolutely stunning and was designed and made by Violet Flamingo as were the stunning A line bridesmaid dresses. The pretty flower bouquets with pastels and hints of gold were designed and carefully put together by Jill Naughton Flowers. The girls were styled with make up by Mirror Mirror Salon in Urmston and hair was styled by Maggie and Anne from Swanns. The bridal hair fascinator was a beautiful intricate beads and peacock feather band designed and made by Kate Kershaw. The tabvle designs and decorations were by Emma at Planning My Special Day.. and of curse not forgetting the seriously talented and award winning evening entertainment, which was a surprise to the guests and we were all completely blown away by Re-Take That band. They were amazing and literally had everybody up singing and ladies were going wild for the 4 boys. I can not recommend them highly enough. I always think the evening reception of a wedding is made by the entertainment and I would recommend a decent budget for either an awesome DJ or live band to create an epic atmosphere and celebrate your wedding in style. The whole day was captured by the awesome Jo Gendle Films fab company and I really hope to work with you again!
Here are a few highlights of Ceri and Mark’s Manchester Lowry Wedding.. congratulations Mr and Mrs Fox! I had an amazing day photographing your wedding and hope to be back at The Lowry photographing more weddings soon!
