Manchester Davyhulme Golf Club Wedding
Jenni and Ross
The Wedding Morning
Jenni and Ross booked me to photograph their Manchester wedding at st Michaels Church Flixton quite some time ago. I knew it was going to be an amazing wedding day because Jenni is a very laid back and extremely smiley lovely person and they have a lovely little family that have been in front of my camera before. Jenni and the bridesmaids had a lovely relaxing morning being pampered at the father of the brides house in Manchester not far from the church. I love it when brides decide to get ready in their childhood home as the walls are so full of treasured memories and it feels so much more personal. I always think to look back at wedding photographs in years to come it means so much more when they are taken in a family home. The bridal hair and makeup was by Emily at Mirror Mirror in Urmston.
The Davyhulme Golf Club Reception
The venue Jenni and Ross chose for their reception, Davyhulme Golf Club which I have also photographed at before and just down the road for me. It was all decorated beautifully by Exquisite rooms and balloons Manchester. It is a lovely Art Deco building in Manchester with a really big room big enough to seat 120 wedding guests for a meal. Jenni’s dad is a member at the Golf Club so we managed to get out onto a buggy after the wedding breakfast and get some amazing photographs of the happy couple by the lake and amongst the summer flowers. We were entertained by the amazing Colin and Paul from GoodMan Green Magic who were ‘wow’ing the guests with their card tricks and magic. I would highly recommend these guys as entertainment for your wedding day as they really got some amazing reactions from guests. The evening reception was kicked off by the award winning wedding singer John Norcott and there was plenty of dancing, drinking and loosening of clothes on the dancefloor as the evening progressed!
I had an absolutely amazing time. Thank you so much Jenni and Ross for asking me to be your Manchester Wedding Photographer. Here are a few highlights of the day!
