Emily and Neil’s Rivington Hall Barn Winter Wedding

Emily and Neil’s wedding was a cold one but the sun was shining at St Michael’s Church in Flixton. Emily looked seriously stunning and her bouquet, though heavy, was so lovely with the colours fitting the winter theme perfectly.

The reception was at the amazing Rivington Hall Barn which I am familiar with as we spent many a weekend at the barn growing up watching all the bikers on a Saturday and Sunday. Rivington Barn is now well known for weddings and it is stunning inside with rustic saxon beams and fairy lights everywhere, its a wedding photographers dream.

The room was decorated beautifully and with the awesomeness of Gavin and the boys from The Rush the night partied on long and hard.

We managed to sneak off and brave the cold for 10 minutes for some portraits outside Rivington barn with Emily and Neil and then later on after the wedding breakfast we managed another 10 minutes in a quiet corner of the barn where I pulled out a couple of lights on them for some more gorgeous portraits.

A couple of days after the wedding Emily and Neil sent me a gorgeous bunch of flowers and chocolates thanking me….I was really shocked (pleasantly!) because they hadn’t seen any of the pictures yet! When I did deliver all the pictures a few weeks later she wrote a lovely review about me which made me giggle…

Kelly photographed my wedding and I am over the moon with the pics! The whole day was captured so well from beginning to end bringing back lots of memories. I love the arty ones using the sunset, mirrors, etc to create really stunning effects! Only downside is that my house will now be CRAMMED with photo frames because I want them all on display Kelly Clarke is a camera genius!!
