Dan and Nicola’s Windermere Autumn Wedding

When Dan and Nicola asked me to be their photographer for their Wordsworth Hotel Lake District wedding by Windermere I couldn’t wait as I had shot there the last wedding season in the summer. We chatted during their Pre-Wedding Photoshoot about the wedding day plans including a short drive to the lakeside jetty by windermere, hot chocolate and mulled wine and instead of confetti during the day they wanted sparklers at night.

The Lake District is renowned for being rainy and on the drive up from Manchester I was keeping a close eye on the sky (and road of course) but the day turned out to be lovely and dry and we managed to get pictures outside with the stunning hills as a backdrop and down by the lake. I made myself a little friend for the day as Dan and Nicola’s super cute son and page boy was certainly not camera shy and seemed to spot me wherever I went.
