The Mere Golf Resort Winter Wedding

Neena and Mohsin’s beautiful winter wedding at The Mere Golf Resort

When I first met up with Neena and Mohsin I knew their wedding was going to be awesome. They are a very laid back couple that literally couldn’t stop smiling at each other when we were chatting about their wedding at The Mere Resort. I’ve photographed at the Mere a few times but had never photographed a December wedding there so couldn’t wait!

The day started early at Groom prep which is very unusual as the day usually starts with the girls being pampered! The boys were very organised and got themselves ready in time for a few Indian wedding traditions and set for the 11am ceremony at Mottram Parish Church.  When I arrived at Bridal Preparations the girls were all very chilled out and considering how many bridesmaids there were I was very impressed with the organisation! Neena looked absolutely stunning in her Ava Rose Hamilton dress and  Mohsin had a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes delivered for her! Lucky girl!

The Church ceremony was at the lovely St Michael and All Angels grade II listed Church in Mottram and we lucked out with the weather being dry with an atmospheric winter mist in the air. After some hugs kisses, tears and an epic confetti run we made our way to The Mere Resort in Cheshire for some amazing welcome drinks and canapés… I mean seriously, old fashioned whiskeys as welcome drinks! AMAZING!

The evening reception was a blast with the very lovely Adam Carr getting the whole room on the dancefloor with some epic DJ sets.. I’m convinced that if there were dance off judges there then Neena’s dad would have absolutely won first prize! What an absolute legend!
