Lauren and Billy’s Cheshire Summer Wedding

This is the first wedding I have photographed at Chimney House Hotel in Sandbach. It is a beautiful Tudor style country house in Cheshire with plenty of space inside and outside. Lauren and Billy’s summer wedding certainly did not disappoint. I couldn’t have asked for a more chilled out and smiley bride. Lauren was beaming with laughter all day and then absolutely partied like a rock star when Mr Wilsons Second Liners turned up to entertain us throughout the evening.

I was kept entertained by the bride and grooms beautiful daughter for most of the morning and I am pretty sure I took more photographs of her than anybody else! The ceremony room is really bright and airy. Daylight floods through the windows around the room and ceiling and bounces off the white walls which is perfect for a wedding photographer!

The turnaround of the room for the wedding breakfast gave the guests time to enjoy a few drinks and canapés in the newly refurbished bar area and outside in the gardens whilst I did a few relaxed group pictures.

The speeches were, well, bloody hilarious to be honest and I captured a lot of expressions to say the least. It was very clear throughout the day of how close these two families were with each other. Lauren had such a lovely bond with her grandad which was so lovely to see and I’m so glad I photographed lots of moments of them together.

We were lucky enough to get some golden light in the evening, and despite Billy absolutely hating having his picture taken I managed to convince him for about 5 minutes of bride and groom portraits in the gardens before heading in for some evening dancing. I knew Mr Wilsons Second Liners were booked but Lauren managed to keep it a secret from the guests. I have seen these guys perform a few times before and they are AMAZING!
